EXTRA PRO TIPS:
- If you’re traveling on a tighter budget with small suitcases, you can always take the train/metro combination from the Paris airports to your lodging. Just be careful: pickpockets are unfortunately very common on the airport lines and stations, often targeting tired and distracted travelers.
- The most convenient airports in Paris are Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY). I always recommend avoiding Beauvais (BVA) — it’s extremely far from the city, rides can cost a fortune, public transportation takes forever, and it consistently has the worst reviews among the three.
